If you have been to Japan, you will know how Halloween celebrations are taken seriously here. As an Egyptian, I am not exactly familiar with them, but we do have some Halloween decorations at the malls and sometimes exclusive flavors if you go to a high-end cafe or something… that’s why I like it’s atmosphere here in Japan.

Today I would like to talk about the 2 exclusive flavors introduced in the spirit of Halloween:”Purple Sweet Potato” & “Pumpkin”.

Starting with my personal favorite; “pumpkin”. At first it seemed I was eating a pumpkin pure (which is a good thing for a pumpkin lover) but as I kept eating into it, I felt the cinnamon punch right away which gave an extra edge to the flavor. It is definitely an Autumn-fitted flavor in my opinion.

Next, “Purple Sweet Potato” flavor. First it has a cute purple color that makes it appealing for the eyes. It might even encourage you to take a picture of it. As for the taste, it is a denser creamy version of regular sweet potatoes. It has a faint roasted fragrant that would please anyone looking for a subtle flavor.

Both of these flavors are non-milk types (soy beans + honey) yet they are very creamy in texture and you wouldn’t even know they have zero dairy products unless someone highlights it to you.

Make sure to stop by if you have a chance to try them for yourself because if they are out of stock they are gone forever this season…

Unnecessary comment: When these two flavors are put together in one cup, it looks so elegant!
